Hey there!

I just finished my OH training and will be starting a support group here in the Sumter area! I hope there are some of you here who live nearby! I am going to start by doing a monthly meeting - I would love to know what days of the week are good for you guys, so hopefully we can get people together!!!

I'm so excited - we need a support group around here!

I have really enjoyed my discussions with you all in the past. I hope all of you are doing well.

We are currently looking to do a new weight loss relationship type programs that we hope you will like.

We are looking for a pre op married couples where both of the partners are obese and that might be interested in being in one of our shows.

Well... First i didnt really like Dr. Calhoun. She isnt people oriented to me.
I have my second Eval on Monday. Didnt pass the first one :-( She said I was too stressed.
But everything is based on what you filled out on her take home Evals. She ask you questions about the surgery to see what you know and to see if you have done your research.

have you been to any of the seminars? I have never seen you at any.

I went to my Gp today. He told me that these places are not the best outlet. He said it would be best if I just continued to do what I am doing since I am looseing weight.

Psych Eval ?? How was it ? What kind of questions are they going to ask ? Mine is coming up May the 8th and I just want to be prepared...

I know several who have tried it, and like everything else, they gain the weight right back as soon as they stop the diet pills. I wouldn't spend my money on it and would look elsewhere to find something other than pills.

I haven't heard anything but negative comments about bariatric clinics. Maybe you could try Weigh****chers if you haven't already. Is there a payment plan that the doctor will work with you on? I think you see Dr.Rowitz? If so I know they do payment plans. Hope this helps. Personally I wouldn't waste the money on the clinic.

Since my insurance does not cover bariatric surgery I have been looking into other options. I have ran accross a clinic that uses meds to help you loose. I have to pay out or pocket. Have any of you dune this and have you you had any success at it.
